What Happens to Stress and Pain After Self-Realization
Our consciousness can range from the wonderfully divine to the most dense limiting experiences possible. However in the growth towards enlightened awareness the negative unproductive aspects of life become less and less engaging and the expanded, productive values become more and more engaging. It is not that challenging personal situations all disappear in awakened consciousness but rather that they begin to be experienced in a vastly broader context that can no longer be hidden by them. Which in practical terms means that the influence of the awakening heart and mind spontaneously finds solutions to life’s problems and naturally spreads its light far and wide. The only serious hindrance to the full development of the heart and mind is complacency and lack understanding.
Complacency and lack od understanding – can ypu explain? Thanks.
Hi Margot
Understanding is as important to awakening as experience. In fact it is the deep intellect that wakes up to unified awareness. It is knowledge that ties everything together, be it subtle or concrete. After the ups and downs of flashy experiences or daily challenges it is pure awake self-knowledge that remains. Ultimately of course it is knowledge that becomes the entire content of all experience. The thing about knowledge is that you do have to quietly go after it. Nobodies knowledge, however profound, other than your own can become unified awareness. Of course knowledge from the outside can enliven your consciousness to self-awareness, but it is still your your very personalawareness that must acknowledge and incorporate it
All the very best
